Sea cadets on a sponsored row rescued by Fraserburgh Lifeboat

The volunteer crew of the Fraserburgh Lifeboat “The Willie and May Gall” interrupted a routine training exercise last Thursday evening. They went to the assistance of nine sea cadets who had got into difficulties while taking part in a sponsored row from Fraserburgh to Sandhaven. A series of fortunate circumstances culminated in the lifeboat arriving at the rescue scene just as the party from the local sea cadet unit were about to call for assistance.
